PAVE LOW Aerial Gunner
Tim Hadrych passed away in Albuquerque, NM on 25 Feb 2020 after suffering a recent stroke.
From Mike Homan:
“It is with deep sadness I relay to you we lost Tim this afternoon just before 5 p.m. Albuquerque time. Tim, I am sure, is now reunited with "Christine", his favorite Pavelow, and even now manning the tail gun performing low level operations throughout a flying paradise. Continue to pray for his family as they adjust to Tim's departure.”
Tim's U.S.A.F. history:
May 1976 - Nov 1979 - Weapons Load Crew Member/ Crew Chief on F-4D's and F-15A/B's at Holloman AFB, NM.
Dec 1979 - Dec 1982 - Weapons Load Crew Chief on F-111F's at RAF Lakenheath, UK.
Dec 1982 - Jan 1986 - Weapons Flight Shift and Flightline Supervisor on UH-1N's, MH-53H's at Hurlburt Field, FL. Weapons flights were consolidated with the 84th EMS in 1984 where in addition to working on the helicopters, he started to work on Talons and the AC-130H., MC-130E's and AC-130H's. In Jan 1986, he PCA'd to the 20th SOS to become as an MH-53H/J Aerial Gunner.
Jun 1986 - Nov 1991 - MH-53J Aerial Gunner with the 20th SOS at Hurlburt Field, FL.
Nov 1991 - Aug 1996 - MH-53J Aerial Gunner Flight Examiner/Program Manager with the 551st SOS (58th SOW) at Kirtland AFB, NM.
Aug 1996 - Aug 1997 - MH-53J Aerial Gunner Flight Examiner and Operations Superintendent with the 31st SOS at Osan AB, ROK.
Aug 1997 - Weapons and Tactics NCO with the 551st SOS (58th SOW) at Kirtland AFB, NM.
May 31, 2000 - Retired from active duty.
