Major Jason "Mongo" Stanley, USAF, Retired, was born on August 16, 1970, in Killeen, Texas, to Robert and Phyllis Stanley of Albuquerque, New Mexico. He is survived by his wife, Amelia, and son, Harrison Stanley of Cincinnati, Ohio. He has two brothers, Brandon of Portland, Oregon, and Adam of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and sister Leah, also from Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Jason transitioned on March 5, 2022, in Cincinnati, Ohio, at the age of 51, surrounded by family. Jason will be forever remembered as Master of Ceremonies, a Patron of the Arts with a great appreciation for both classical and heavy metal music. He was a gregarious giant, a true rock star, with a mischievous streak that he managed to keep until the end.

Jason' Stanley's widow, Amelia writes the following:
It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Jason “Mongo” Stanley from this life on March 5, 2022, in Cincinnati, Ohio, surrounded by family. Jason will be forever remembered as a patron of the arts with a great appreciation for both classical and headbanger music. He was a gregarious giant, a true rock star, with a mischievous streak that he managed to keep until the end of his life. He is survived by his wife Amelia and their son Harrison.
